Chapter 6: Revolution
"AAAAAACK!" Sudently, outside screaming voices were heard, as well as sounds of metal clanging and crushing and some bones breaking. Lavinia looked confused. With already so many weird events, she graoned at the thought fo whatever this might be. The door suddenly opened, after the sounds of a man being knocked out. Inside, the pygmy jerboa symbiote rushed inside. "Lavvy!" The symbiote smiled, as the tomboy just stood confused. "…M-Mint?.... what are you doing here?" Cabal quickly followed after him, in symbiote form as well. "What's it look like? You should be more glad…" Mint took of the gas mask, while Lavvy still kept a confusing look. Cabal was busy ripping apart the bonds.
"Yeah, but…. I mean why? You said yourself facing GG is trouble, why raid a BASE?" Lavvy asked, while Mint shifted her eyes, but Cabal, still busy ripping, said it bluntly. "We were more worried someone like you might get with the Tamed." Milicent was swatting a bit at Cabal's bluntness.
"Heh, you thought I'd be a big of an asshole enough to join that?' Lavvy commented, shifting to help though the ripping herself, making Mint blink. "You found out?" Lavvy grunted, finally getting out in symbite form, rubbing her wrists. "I met the lead bitch… I DON'T like her and I don't like her ideas either…"
"Either you like or not, we have to get out of here. Alarms can go off any moment." Cabal warned, still looking tense. Lavinia, however didn't look so eager to leave as much. "Are there any more prisoners here?" She asked. The question made both of the infected confused. "Well, we are inside a capture base, hidden as your average GG storage… there are quite a few infected here… you were pretty much the only one kept separate…" The jerboa hybrid responded.
"Great… we're freeing those guys as well." Now the two were even more nervous. "Are you insane?! We barely got through here without being found out? Now you want to risk capture again?!" Cabal snapped, pretty angry this time. "…one thing that I know is that whatever bad happens to me, I don't want other people, who don't deserve it, to suffer the same fate. We are already risking capture, if we free more, we can easily counter the GG troops." Again, the two were continued to be shocked, they did not expect such a mentality from a person like this. Cabal and Mint were but through thinking. "If you are scared, just follow me, and try to use only instincts!" Lavvy reinforced her statement, starting to sniff around. "Come on!" She then bursted out, as it left the other two infected no choice, but to follow.
Following a corridor that lead directly to the big patch of cells, everything seemed pretty clear, even though the alarm was bleeping hard." This way right?!" Lavvy shouted, looking behind at Mint." Yeah, just keep going!" Mint answered, easily keeping up with her speed…. Cabal however was having a bit of trouble." Damned speedy women.."
Suddenly, they all skidded to a stop. In front of them there were 5 GG soldiers, but that wasn't what attracted Lavinia's attention. Her muzzle turned into a snarl seeing the man behind the troops. Sebastien. "I thought I told you to give up." Sebastien immediately spoke up, showing no fear, just seriousness. "No matter, you give us two more infected to test on." This made Cabal's and Mint's bodies shiver a bit. Lavvy, on the other hand was too busy at being angry. "Go! Hunt them down!" TheGG soldiers immediately rushed.
"Lavvy we gotta go!" Mint yelled, ready to run. "That's the only way to the cells, right?" That was the tomboy's answer, which to that Mint only nodded. "We are three infected against a few soldiers… Do you really just want to run, begging for more of these idiots to stack up? I took down tens of these guys alone… and I'm petty sure you can to…" Cabal was the one to be more receptive,as two soldiers rushed him with their Saber blades up. He grabbed both of them, roaring, smashing their heads into eachother. Milicent caught a bit of courage as she kicked the other three soldiers in the head, running and confusing them, leaving for Lavvy to slash them up easely. Sebastien finally switched his expression. An expression that made the wolf symbiote very happy: fear and surprise. He was on his own now. "…WHY AREN'T YOU RUNNING!? Animals like you… they… they run at this threats!" She got that déjà vuu, the same way the two soldiers reacted to her attack. It was pretty obvious not many accepted their infection so much to actually gain a confidence. A bit of an attitude. Lavvy continued to terrorize the science head as she rushed for him, claws up. Sebastien was slowly backing away, but was paralyzed in fear.
Blood spluttered in an X, as Lavvy slashed her claws in a cross. Sebastien now felt hot blood on his face, then the immense stinging pain. She slashed an X right between his eyes, the upper legs going over his eyes and his lower going well on his cheek. He stumbled back, grasping his face. The wound hurt, but Lavvy wasn't even serious. A serious slash would have slashed his face in half. She lowered erself next to his face. But Milicent twitched her ear. " I hear more footsteps!" Lavinia grumbled, but then just smirked. "That was a little payback, enjoy a cool new scar… Come on!" With that she rushed along with the two infected, Cabal just looking slightly confused on why she spared Sebastien.
Eventually, they reached in front of a huge mechanical door. Both Lavinia and Cabal slammed their claws against the edges, as they pulled out the door pretty quickly. The room was also HUGE inside, different levels with different bubble shaped cells. Inside, there were infected either chained or free, too scared to try to escape or too weak. Lavvy frowned at this, but Cabal kept a more clear head. "It'll take forever to free them all…"
"Uhm, guys.." Milicent waved, as she pointed to a big console along the door, making the two powerhouses sweatdrop. "…right…" Mint studied the console a bit, eventually figuring out the button to unlock all cells. She slammed it,as the cells began to open and the chains were falling off. All the infected looked incredibly confused by this, staring down at the three symbiotes. "Alright, everybody, we have to get out of here! The GG troops will be here soon, so little time to escape!" Cabal shouted. Some of the infected were nervous, but wanted to come down, others were too scared or skeptical. Cabal actually twitched a bit, but not as much as Lavvy. "IF YOU DON'T MOVE YOUR ASS OUTSIDE WITH US, THEN EXPECT DOUBLE THE PAIN AND PUNISHEMENT AFTER THIS!" At this all the infected startled, shifting, climbing, flying or dropping down. Cabal looked back at the tomboy. "…I guess bluntness isn't so inspirational sometimes…" Lavvy just gave out a big grin.
Outside, several soldiers were put on guard. Suddenly they start feeling a quake. Looking back, they actually wished it was a quake, as a stampede of infected of all kinds were rushing for freedom, ready to stomp on them. Some were panicking, trying to shoot, others just tried running away. But the infected wanted too much payback, as Lavvy demonstrated, nonchalantly slashing one of the soldiers, the others quickly picking up. She couldn't help but grin wide, looking back. Just that wolf instinct of leading. "I am starting to actually like this..." The wolf parasite finally commented.
The exit door was no match for the stampede, as all infected pushed on it, it immediately slamed to the ground. Just a bit more until freedom. The base was actually surrounded by a huge wall all around it, with flags of the Global Government scattered on top. Lavinia scoffed annoyed, but not really worried. She climbed on top of the wall, next to a flag, shifting back to calm many that were freaking out. All right, all you buff guys, elephants, elk, bulls, whatever! Get to smashing! You flying guys can just go ahead!" Lavvy instructed, as the infected did that. Many started barging, some were actually cmibling and some were flying over, but, out of nervousness, keeping close to the others, even if they passed the wall.
Suddenly everything went quiet, the symbiotes stopped from bashing or fleeing. Lavvy was confused, they were all so eager before. She concentrated her eyes on the back of the crowd, where everybody seemed to turn. As soon as most infected backed off, the source of their fear was clear. Hadrea was slowly walking up, she was visibly angry, but still keeping a strange content smile. "Now look what you did, you mutt… Do you really think a bunch of stray's can escape that easily, with no after effect whatsoever? Ha ha, where the heck do you think you're going?! You think you have a place to run? A place to hide? You're all just scared! Temporarily making a team just for now, then getting scattered as soon as you escape. That's pathetic! You will be easy picks then… Just one by one, back into your cages… or even worse… Pity, pity…" Lavinia was now frowning. A bit of truth in her words, yes, but, if anything, she was just getting annoyed at her long speech. Hadrea waved her hand, making some infected back away. "See that?! Everybody is scared of me? You don't stand a chance! A little cheeky mutt standing up to a royal infected? You're delusional, a fool! I dedicated all my time to becoming the perfect strong infected! And they all know it… they all fear me! Everybody does! You know why? Because of power! Because I know how to spawn fear into their hearts, and mostly because I have an army! Whose nuts enough to face an army? You won't find…"
"SHUT UP!" Lavinia finally shouted back, the infected shifting their eyes for a second at her, then back at Hadrea. She was boiling mad. Lavvy could see this, but she didn't care. "Oh GOD! You blab so much worse then an old FART! You know what?! Insanity is what we need! I'm not smart, but ya know what I am nuts and I have ATTITUDE! That's what we frikin need! You can form an army, well guess what, slut? I WILL TOO!" The infected well now fully concentrated on her, as soon as she said that. "For those who don't want to be neither prisoners, nor slaves to a big mouth like you! Because SERIOUSLY! You are worse then a firkin nagging wife, you BITCH!" Lavvy paused for a second. "Wait, that insult is kinda wrong when I say it now… I mean I am a literal bitch, you're… non-literal… wait, I didn't plan this…" The infected were all pretty dumfounded now, Mint letting out a sweatdrop, while Cabal was facepalming.
"You know what, forget it! What I mean to say, is that this group won't be looking to make infected test subjects or be natzie conquering psychos! I'll lead this, Lavinia Maruku! I know I ain't smart, but at least I got guts and attitude! All we want is to live in HARMONY with our parasites, the humans and the animals! And where we can act whatever the hell we want like, with no fear! But we will also be ready to take you BOTH down!" Now everybody was taking this seriously, shocking them. Especially Mint and Cabal, as they knew a bit about her personality. Even the parasites inside were shocked, especially the wolf one. Hadrea was so pissed now fangs were obvious one her face and her hair was starting to get… lighter? "But now I'm sounding like you…so…"She grabbed unto the huge flag next to her, grasping the shaking material." These four words might help… JUST GO, FUCK YOURSELF!" Lavinia shouted, ripping the flag off. A sign of challenge and war.
